The Managing Director/Chief Executive of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Senator Gbenga Ashafa, has disclosed plans to build 20,000 Golden Jubilee estates in the six geo-political zones.
Ashafa, while unveiling the FHA’s Golden Jubilee Logo and theme, said the estate is to mark its 50 years of existence.
He said: “As a memorial, management has planned the construction of Golden Jubilee estates across the six geo-political zones of the country. Recently, we did the groundbreaking of the Jubilee estate in the Mbora District of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
“In total, about 20,000 housing units are what we are planning in the six geo-political zones, and they are of different types. And it differs from one place to the other. The Zuba project is just an example because of the model that we used, which is one bedroom, two bedrooms, and three bedrooms.”
