The Tanzanian Woman Who Refused to Let Trachoma Steal More Sight

Fatuma Saidi Majogo, who survived trachoma with her sight intact, now fights the disease in her village in Mbwewe. And now she works with health organizations, going door-to-door to help others in her community get tested and treated. Her work is supported by Sightsavers and the Tanzanian Ministry of Health, fighting trachoma and protecting vision in the country’s villages, reports allAfrica’s Melody Chironda.
