Leaders of Turkey, Italy, and Libya Meet to Discuss Mediterranean Migration and Strengthen Cooperation

The migration route from Libya across the Mediterranean, which has been used by thousands attempting to reach Europe, was a key topic during a meeting on Friday between the leaders of Turkey, Italy, and Libya in Istanbul, according to Turkey’s presidency.
President Tayyip Erdogan hosted Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Libyan Prime Minister Abdulhamid al-Dbeibah to address migration issues and explore potential areas of cooperation.
