Former Mauritanian Finance Minister and candidate for president of the African Development Bank (AfDB), Sidi Ould Tah, has vowed to enact internal reforms at the regional development institution if elected at the upcoming Board of Governors meeting in Abidjan. Tah said there’s a need to improve key functions of the Bank, such as reducing the time frame for the implementation of projects and attracting the necessary talent, reports allAfrica‘s Boakai Fofana from Nouakchott.
