Dangote Petroleum Refinery on Tuesday further dropped the ex-depot price per litre of petrol from \u20a6840 to \u20a6820.<\/p>\n
In an update, a spokesman for the refinery, Tony Chiejina, confirmed the \u20a620 marginal reduction, which occurred about one week after the $20bn refinery dropped ex-depot petrol price from \u20a6880 to \u20a6840 on June 30, 2025.<\/p>\n
Chiejina said the new ex-depot price of \u20a6820 took effect from Tuesday, July 8, 2025.<\/p>\n
Filling stations like MRS Oil & Gas, Ardova Plc, Heyden, and others with special agreements with the Dangote Refinery are expected to reduce their pump price further below \u20a6880 to reflect the marginal reduction in the ex-depot price of the premium commodity.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, June 15, 2025, the Lagos-based refinery announced the free distribution of petrol and diesel to marketers, dealers, and other large users across the country.<\/p>\n
