A committee charged with monitoring adherence to the agreement has said it &#8220;underscored their shared resolve to ensure the complete and timely implementation&#8221; of the peace deal.<\/p>\n<p>Hopes for peace were raised in June when the foreign ministers of Congo and Rwanda signed the peace agreement in Washington, D.C. after months of U.S.-led mediation.\u00a0<em>AllAfrica&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Boakai Fofana<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0reports\u00a0that a\u00a0resurgence of violence, however, has cast doubt on various regional and international efforts to resolve the conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0<em>allAfrica<\/em>&#8216;s<strong>\u00a0Peter Kenny<\/strong>\u00a0reports that the UN\u00a0has accused\u00a0&#8220;all\u00a0the parties&#8221; to the conflict of committing &#8220;serious violations of international humanitarian law&#8221; that may amount to war crimes and crimes against
