The annual cycling championship promoted by the Union Cycliste Internationale is taking place in the Rwandan capital, Kigale -the first time the event is hosted on the continent. The competition, scheduled to take place from September 21-28, puts the central African nation, known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills,” in the global spotlight.<\/p>\n
The competition will feature thirteen events, with five elite world titles on offer. Top cyclists, including Tour de France Champions,\u00a0Tadel Pogacar\u00a0and Pauline Ferrand-Prevot, are participating in the high-stakes competition.<\/p>\n
