Nigerian music star – Burna Boy, has strengthened his position as Africa’s most globally certified artist, amassing an extraordinary 173 music certifications across international markets, including eight Diamond, 27 Multi-Platinum, 50 Platinum, 75 Gold and 13 Silver awards.

Born Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu on July 2, 1991, Burna Boy rose from Nigeria’s vibrant grassroots music scene, to become one of the continent’s most recognizable cultural exports. He first gained national attention with his 2012 breakout single – Like to Party, before releasing his debut album – L.I.F.E in 2013.
